Laurie Duncan jp, Chairman, RMA: 9794834

 

Laurie joined Hamilton Watts in December 1997, after a 29-year career with the Department of Immigration in a broad range of operational areas in Melbourne, Brisbane and the USA. His last two appointments in the Department of Immigration were as Western Regional Manager, and State Manager, Residence in Victoria. In addition to these appointments Laurie travelled extensively overseas during the last eight years of his Department of Immigration career, training airline, embassy and other staff in Australia's visa systems. Laurie's varied background and specific technical expertise in visa systems and control has further broadened the company's ability to meet client outcome requirements.

Tony Le Nevez, Managing Director, RMA: 0743920

 

Tony worked for the Department of Immigration for 23 years before joining Hamilton Watts in October 2006. He has extensive experience in policy, program management and personnel development areas in the Department's National Office in Canberra. From January 1999 to February 2002, he worked in the Parliament House Office of the Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs. Tony's operational experience includes overseas postings to Bangkok, Athens and Vienna, and he brings a wide range of migration expertise from Asia, the Middle East and Western and Eastern Europe.Tony holds a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Victoria.

Jacinta Tangey, Senior Consultant, RMA: 9902581

 

A La Trobe University economics graduate, Jacinta joined Hamilton Watts in 1998 and registered as a Migration Agent in July 1999 following internal training with the company. Jacinta’s knowledge of Migration legislation is such that she now successfully manages some of the company’s largest clients. She has gained a broad range of experience across most temporary and permanent visa programs including Temporary Business Long Stay (457), Occupational Trainee, Employer Nomination Scheme, General Skilled Migration and Family Migration.  Jacinta’s skill lies in effectively managing communication between the client, visa applicant and the Department to ensure the best possible outcome.

Brendan James, Senior Consultant, RMA: 9681572

 

Brendan was recruited from the Department of Immigration’s Head Office in Canberra in 1994, where he was employed as an IT Professional. He was trained within Hamilton Watts and was first registered in 1995. Brendan’s experience with the technologies and systems design methods used within the IT and Communications industries is of significant valuable to the company’s pool of expertise.

Amanda Love, Senior Consultant, RMA: 0638911

 

Amanda joined Hamilton Watts in April 2006 after working in the Department of Immigration for over 13 years. She has varied experience in a broad range of operational areas within the Departments regional office in Melbourne and offshore at the Australian Consulate General, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam and short-term postings to Malaysia and Indonesia. Amanda offers substantial experience across the Department's programs in migration, residence and temporary visa issues.

Robert Moorhouse, Principal Consultant, RMA: 0854648

 

Robert is the newest member of the Hamilton Watts team in Melbourne, joining Hamilton Watts in September 2008. Immediately prior to joining Hamilton Watts, Robert worked as a Senior Case officer in the Business Centre of the Department of Immigration’s ACT & Regions Office. This role involved the processing of Business and Employer-Sponsored visa applications. Prior to this, Robert accrued a number of years experience in the migration industry through employment with another major migration consulting firm. Robert brings valuable expertise in the fields of Business and Employer-Sponsored visas and is the holder of a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Victoria.

Zeno Sworder, Senior Consultant, RMA: 1169624

Zeno has worked in the immigration field for several years and has significant corporate migration experience. Prior to joining Hamilton Watts Zeno worked as a Senior Visa Officer with the Australian Consulate General in Shanghai, Visa Office for over five years. Zeno practices extensively in all aspects of immigration law. He has particular expertise in company sponsored migration, and a wide range of temporary residence visa categories.

Caroline Nguyen, Migration Assistant, RMA: 0801681

Prior to joining Hamilton Watts in February 2011, Caroline worked for a number of law firms where she gained extensive experience in various areas of the law including commercial law, litigation, probate, property law and family law. Caroline holds an Advanced Diploma in Business and Legal Practice from RMIT and a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice from the University of Victoria. She has a sound knowledge of Australian Immigration law and the full range of Australian temporary and permanent visas. Her business and legal background make her an excellent advocate on behalf of clients. In her spare time, Caroline volunteers for a non-profit organization where she provides immigration advice and assistance to refugees and disadvantage migrants. Caroline also speaks Vietnamese.

Angela Parmeter, Office and Accounts Manager

 

Angela joined Hamilton Watts in 2006, as Office Manager. Angela came from a residential lending background, most recently from the banking sector and has significant experience in office management both here and in the United States where she lived for 4 years.

Lachlan McPhail, Manager Sydney / Director, RMA: 9474375

 

Lachlan joined Hamilton Watts in 1993, after working in the field of social welfare, and is the company's longest serving Migration Agent. Lachlan has significant experience and knowledge across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. He is a motivated professional who successfully manages the migration requirements of a number of the company's significant clients. Lachlan is one of the company's experts on change of status and employer sponsored migration. Lachlan relocated to our Sydney Office in February 2005. Lachlan was appointed as a Director in December 2007.

Caroline Huet, Principal Consultant, RMA: 0850819

 

Caroline joined Hamilton Watts in mid 2008 as a Senior Consultant. Caroline has extensive experience in government, initially in the Bureau of Statistics and later in the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) where she worked for 8 years in a variety of operational areas. Immediately before joining Hamilton Watts, Caroline held a number of management positions in the DIAC Business Centre, NSW and brings with her wealth of knowledge in the temporary and permanent residence programmes. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts (Computing and Statistics) degree from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University. She is fluent in French.
